the directer is a genius for doing this shoot sense in this order allows for the character to really seem like a sociopath, the actor makes the scenes while director makes the show

Brian Cranston is a great actor and I don’t think he “needed” to not know in order to be “convincing”

I think the show runners do stuff like this because it’s fun and it’ll be memorable to the cast.
