I wasn’t sure if I liked this album based on what’s come out but why does the live hit different. His storytelling reminds me of the direct, funny-way of intellectualizing emotions (“love isn’t a choice, leaving is”) that Moz is meets the weaving musical sensibilities of Lennon…as well as his own nostalgic sentimentality.
