I like the remake, anyone else? In the directors commentary, Jon Favreau said that it was on purpose that it’d look like a documentary, and that the wanted this to just be another “page in the Lion King story.” not erasing the original, or anything.

The lines from 1994’s version are more emotional especially on the most emotional senses.

Why would you ever cut these lines I. The remake. Saw this movie when I was young and always thought these lines where haunting!

The only mistake on the remake was to change the dialog in this scene. They could add some lines, like: When I was King I was moust proud of one thing. Having you as my son. I never left you, and i never will. But all the lines from the original should´ve benn kept.

So Damn bad, why don't they let us see Mufasa?! I was looking forward to see this scene when I knew that there would be live action movie about The Lion King... I thinked about how damn Beautiful this scene would be again... Did be so disappointed, I really thought that they would let us see Mufasa... I don't understand why they want to make us disappointed 🥺😥😭💔

*Mufasa:* {Quietly at first} Simba . . .

*Simba:* Father?

*Mufasa:* Simba, you have forgotten me.

*Simba:* No. How could I?

*Mufasa:* You have forgotten who you are, and so have forgotten me. Look inside yourself, Simba. You are more than what you have become. You must take your place in the Circle of Life.

*Simba:* How can I go back? I'm not who I used to be.

*Mufasa:* Remember who you are. You are my son, and the one true king.
