The New 2023 BYD SEAGULL EV - Exterior And Interior

The more I see of the Seagull in black, the more I like it. I'm not absolutely sold on the blue interior but I could probably live with it. This is the first EV I've seen that makes me actually want one. I don't care that it doesn't do 300+ miles or accelerate at the speed of light. I DO care that it's affordable (£10k-ish) & has enough whistles & bells to make owning one a sensible long-term proposition. Well done BYD!

How soon can I buy one in the US? All American EV manufacturers want to make are giant SUVs and speedy sports cars, instead of affordable commuter vehicles. The Chevy Bolt EUV (probably the closest American alternative to this BYD Seagull) was recently discontinued despite production not being able to keep up with demand, and it was still twice as expensive!! I'd absolutely buy one of these things the moment they offer an English UI with freedom units on the speedometer.

They need to bring this to Europe and sell it super cheap. They're selling the Atto 3 for way too much and it's in a crowded segment and not doing so great.
