Possibly the coolest synth I have seen, at the same time it had strong "propellerhead" character, which in some case it was difficult to apply it to some of my project. Very metallic and instrumental like.

To compare compressor and EQ settings you could set up a parallel channel and apply your different settings to that channel. Now just toggle the channels off/on to compare them. Or if you're just doing a straight a/b between two channel settings, you can mute one of them and then press its solo button. That will turn it on to hear just it, then clicking the solo off will mute it and you'll hear the other channel. One click A/B comparisons.

I love the realistic look of Reason Rack Extension synths when they're shown in a 3D.animation. It would be cool if Propellerheads added a more 3D perspective to the Reason Rack. When you scroll the Rack up & down devices would become smaller as they go out of view.

It is not a VST or a physical synth. It is a rack extension (reason only plug in) for Propellerheads Reason 6.5 and higher

nice sound i love the concept, it remember me a lot of an old Roland D50 or Korg Wavestation for the pad sound and the chime angklug sound, but this concept of additive synth is a litle bit obscure to me especialy when it's mix with FM filter or low pass filter, did you have a manual to explain the concept of parsec.

My mind did the immediate, perhaps obvious, jump of using this with the Neutron particle emitter RE.. Space music just got more interesting :)

Sounds pretty unique, my audionerd braincells are itching to read up on this new type of synthesis.

o____o everyone try it and get both the left and right OSC to ensemble 1
get the X and bring it to the right and Y to the middle for the 1 OSC
tune the 2nd to match it and ERMERGERD ITS ERSERME!

I'm not talking about A/B comparisons like waves has. I'm talking about saving my presets. Use them for some other day and tweak them save them and use them for some other day and so. I know for live session for the kick only I have around 20 presets of ssl setting. let alone the bass and keyboards, so I'm using a copy paste method just because there is no option to save my presets and open them. A one click thing has become a click click click copy from new file I called preset paste thing.

thank you for your fast respond but I still need you to bring the ability to save the SSL sooner coz just to give you an example my last project the kick drum by itself has 4 parallel channel to color the sound if I use your way with all the FX the CPU will die. I love reason. I can't work on any other DAW but still the ability not to save the ssl setting is something that I don't expect from the easy gioing Reason.
