David Schafer gushes over 'faithful slave's' Covid handling

(Rebuttals Sushi #28 - Reviewing the 2020 Annual Meeting Part One) At the 2020 annual meeting held last October, Governing Body helper David Schafer fronted a 19-minute presentation heaping praise on his Jehovah's Witness superiors, the "faithful slave," for being so awesome at adapting to the Covid 19 pandemic.

I'm a recently faded witness from London UK. Even though the UK is a hotspot for covid 19, I know of only 2 people who were hospitalized by it. Both were witnesses. One died prematurely and the other was in hospital for 6 weeks and still affected by it 4 months on. They were both cared for by self sacrificing people (non witnesses) in the medical community. How did Jehovah look after those 2 servants of his? And how was the death of the unfortunate "brother" a blessing for his witness family? How can anyone argue that god is blessing that organisation given the loss of so many people within there "church". The watchtower will use any opportunity to put a spin on even the most tragic events.

As someone who works in the virtual conference space, I can assure you that JW's aren't the only ones putting entire conventions and other formerly live events into virtual spaces. Everyone was doing this last year, and most of them succeeding.
