Thousands of Danes sign petition to buy California from U.S.

In response to President Donald Trump’s continued musing about the U.S. acquiring Greenland from Denmark, Danish citizens have launched their own effort to purchase America’s most economically prosperous state.

Hello from Copenhagen. You will of course be completely equal to the Danes. Free healthcare, free education, free nursery homes for the elderly, 1 year paid maternity leave per child, 6 weeks paid vacation, very cheap daycare for toodlers, free dental care for children and youth...
