11 years i've been watching this anime, living with the characters and most of them i know better than i do people around me

Father was scolded for standing up for his friends, causing him to be depressed and kill himself
His teammate supposedly died
His other teammate died by his own hand
His sensei was killed by a man which he later found out to be his own teammate.
His sensei's son was placed in his team, and later left to train with someone else
He was killed and then revived, only having moments to talk to his father, a man who had left a stigma on him since his death
The man behind the death of his sensei was revealed to be his former friend, someone he thought dead
This man was twisted by darkness of others
His best friend lost use of his legs after attempting to sacrifice himself for the ninja world
his former friend died shortly after having his eyes opened to his wrongdoings

My mother and I marathoned the entirity of this show, shippuden and the last after she was introduced to anime through full metal alchemist when I was a teenager. Those are good memories I have of her. I miss her terribly. It's not been a year. Cancer sucks.
