Thanks for the great tip. This has been my focus this league season, and my scores are up compared to last season.

My son and I love going to Mike Shady clinics. We've met Mike Machuga twice at NCAA regionals.

What I recommend in the future is to have a more slower motion of the ball releases so we can see the differences. The slow motions of the videos was not slow enough to get a better understanding of the ball releases.

I thought that you have to increase your index finger for the ball to create shape? That is what I had been doing to knock out the ten pin.

After replaying 1st shot and comparing last shot. I noticed a few things different . 1st shot, slide foot was on board 20 at fowl line, ball was at 12 board at arrows, and about 7 board down lane. 2nd shot. slide foot was at 22 at fowl line, ball was at 14 at arrows, and about 8 or 9 down lane. Hand release looked the same on both shots, so no change in hand position. just slight move to left was the only change I saw that gave the ball to his high flush in the pocket . When leaving flat 10's, my move is to backup couple of inches on my start on approach which gives a little more speed to execute a better shot. Good video as usual . Good luck and good bowling.

As well as tucking your elbow inside( zero chicken wing ) as much as possible during your downswing and watching the ball motion down lane ( once in a while my wrist will collapse at the release point and the ball will be a spinner which means there will be very little deflection, and probably end up with some nasty splits etc………)

It would be helpful if you used a ball that had a different color scheme so we could actually see the rotation of the ball down lane. Even at .25 speed I can't see the rotation.

I throw a backup ball and can’t seem to stay consistent. I also miss the 7 pin almost every single time I leave it.
