Some points may be missing and may help for others:
1. The US model supports most cellular bands.
2. The US model cannot be used in Mainland China with their carrier except for roaming because this country banned eSIMs, eSIMs work for HK and Macau and another region model can use on their network.
3. The UAE model does not have FaceTime, however, there are some ways to bypass it.
4. Chinese iPhone models do not support eSIM, Facetime Audio, "🇹🇼", Group Facetime, Facetime link, SOS via satellite, Apple Watch Walkie-Talkie, also include some of the bands like mmWave and n71, including the 10-minute limit of AirDrop on iOS 16.1.1 due to political reason. (Worst model in the world)

Thank you for a very informative video! I have a question on which variant I should purchase for iPhone 15pro max. I travel back and forth between the US and SEA. Based on the info you provided, seems like Japan variant maybe the best. Your thoughts? Global version seems to be missing Band 71 but Japan version has it.

Subscribed! Love the production, btw. Overall, HK variant is better than China variant IF you have two interchangeable sims but if you want peace of mind with warranty, NTC is the best way to go.
