Also added a good pinch of nutmeg and used unsalted butter since I didn’t have coconut oil. Also used dark chocolate instead. And only half cup of coconut sugar. The BEST lactation cookie I ever did try. Thank you !

I added about a tablespoon of peanut butter in my batter and they taste just like a peanut butter chocolate chip cookie!! 😋

If anyone is looking at making these, brewers yeast is Saccharomyces cerevisiae. If you check regular and easy bake yeast in a basic grocery store it's often the same thing. For those of us outside of the US, it'd otherwise be very expensive if brought as "Brewers yeast" vs basic. 😅

I made this recipe with a little twist, I added peanut butter, collagen and protein powder to it. It tasted delicious!!

If you store them in the freezer, do you store just the dough and bake each time or store them cooked and let them thaw?

Can you please give a substitute for Brewer's Yeast? I found that Baking Soda can be used...but the recipe calls for 3tbs, that'd be a lot of Baking Soda...so, any substitute?
