Steve Vai Tone using only Boss pedals

I saw Steve Vai at a masterclass in Sydney in 2011 and we had a good view of his pedalboard. It was volume, wah (morley), the Jemini drive and a Boss chorus and 2 Boss delays feeding into 2 Lecacy amps. Sounded like Steve Vai all right. There is a video from a few years ago called "perfect Pedal Placemen" where Vai shows this exact setup.

Really enjoyed this video Paul , I took some of your Pedal Settings and tweaked my GT 1000 and got quite close to that Vai tone , I only know 1 track (For The Love Of God)

Great Video Paul, can you please explain is the super chorus in effects loop of legacy drive? what is the signal chain after you split it ? does each delay have its own reverb? I didn't understand that part I have the super chorus and two dd3's, I'm trying to work it out and close but need your help please

Very cool. Yeah. That was very close man. I was searching for his Crossroads tone with pedals. I think if tou qould add an Eventide micro pitch pedal you'd have his crossraods tone or close to it. That od1x sounds excellent man. ❤

So how do you use normally that pedalboard? Do you the Legacy drive channel? Do you use Jemini green side to boost the OD1X? And what about the Jemini red side: is it good?
