The arius was the first knife I bought over $500 and it really is an experience like no other. I’ve long since put that knife in the safe to give to my son and moved on to knives like Eutsler Duklings, FSD’s and Rosies. But the arius will always have that special place in my heart.

I always appreciate the fact you share the acoustics with us. It's such a key thing I look for when buying knives, I actually had to apologize to the guy at REC yesterday because I kept flipping open three knives trying to decide which one I liked the sound of better.

One thought for those who one knives that are thick behind the edge would pay someone like BGM Knives to do a hollow grind. He charges like $75 per knife, and his grinds are incredible. He has brought a few old knives back to life for me.

This is absolutely my favorite knife I own. I just sent my mini flipper out and had the flipper chopped and the handles stonewashed. Should be back tomorrow!
