In this episode I'm picking up Dhanno from La Guarida motorcycle shop where she got a service. With an oil change and a brand new rear tyre she is ready to go again! I'm riding from Punta Arenas in Chile, to Puerto Natales. On the way I am making a stop at Estancia Olga Teresa, to go bird watching. The mountain where the bird are is called Pidgeon Mountain. But are these really pigeons, or something else... ?

Love that you just ride up and ask "sooo, can you do a tour?" "Sure, lemme call Eduardo!"
Also Eduardo is awesome; kind, knowledgeable, and an amazing accent!

Respect to you Noraly, for understanding the importance of weight when 'off road' motorcycling, even when the industry would have you on a 1200cc bike with metal panniers!
And thanks so much for letting us peep through the telescope at the condors, you really do take us with you! :)

Before I began following your channel just a couple of months ago, I would take my Explorer Z200 motorbike on maybe a 5 or 10-kilometer ride on a Sunday afternoon. I've had the bike for more than 5 years and I still haven't put more than 3, 000 kilometers on the clock, what a shame. But now I'm out every chance I get and suddenly began appreciating my bike again. I even gave it a name too--Max--named it after my dog of 14 years who died only last year. You give riding a whole new meaning, Noraly, and even giving a machine his own name humanizes the whole experience in a refreshingly inspiring way.

Learning so much from Noraly on this trip, added to all of her previous adventures. The Penguins that live in burrows. The Foxes. The 'Roadrunners'. The only colony of Emperor Penguins in South America. Varying currencies and costs to exchange. The end of the road, naval station, as crossing from Argentina to Chile and back Patagonia. The ferry rides, the food and accommodations. Today the Condors. The conversations with locals. Each episode is extremely interesting. Thank you Noraly, for your enthusiasm and especially the vast amount of edit time to seamlessly bring your world to the internet.. your grateful followers... Thank you, Thank you.

This video was another great insight into your trip. I hope you do more of these on your adventure. For me they add another dimension to the whole experience. As much as i love motorcycling and all that it encompasses, and i have been doing it for 54 years now, i think it is about so much more, and you are bringing it all home to us. Bless you, what an amazing woman you are. Keep on keeping on.😎

10:45 - Noraly shocked at low wages in Venezuela! 🤣 Eduardo is an amazing and passionate naturalist and has SO much knowledge! The condors are really amazing! We do have some California Condors, but they are just different enough that they gave them a different classification than the Andean Condors. In California they became extinct the wild in 1987, but all the remaining ones were captured and after some years of a breeding program at the San Diego Zoo, began reintroduction in 1991. They have come back from 27 individuals to 537, 336 of which were living in the wild as of 2022.

The best thing about this channel: It's always uplifting. Even when things go awry, there are still smiles and giggles to brighten the way.
