About Cry Macho:
From Warner Bros. Pictures come director/producer Clint Eastwood’s uplifting and poignant drama “Cry Macho.” The film stars Eastwood as Mike Milo, a one-time rodeo star and washed-up horse breeder who, in 1979, takes a job from an ex-boss to bring the man’s young son home from Mexico. Forced to take the backroads on their way to Texas, the unlikely pair faces an unexpectedly challenging journey, during which the world-weary horseman finds unexpected connections and his own sense of redemption.

Great song. Just finished the movie. Loved it. I'll admit it kind of hit home for me. My parents are dead. My Mom was Mexican and born there. My Dad was from Oklahoma. So when Clint and the lady was dancing after he fixed the jukebox I couldn't stop crying. Sabor a Mi was one of Mom's favorite songs. To hear that song, and see them dancing together made me think of them. And everyone would say my Dad resembled Clint and me growing up watching all his movies, well I didn't think I would be here at home watching a movie on a Friday and crying like a lil boy. This Country song and the Mexican song brought both my world's together you can sort of say.

Just watched Cry Macho, spent the entire film smiling and crying as I lost my dad just over a year ago and Clint now in all of his frailty but with plenty of heart for life reminded me of dad so much, the film felt like I just spent two hours with dad, so thank you so much Clint for making such a beautiful film and this song is now very poignant, the lyrics are so beautiful, full of soul and have now added this to my musical memory for dad ❤

Just finished watching this movie! I never heard of Will Banister before, but I heard this song at the very end of the movie. I had to watch the credits roll at the end of the movie to find out who recorded the song. A beautiful song and I can relate it to my story. Once again, Clint made a wonderful movie. It's gonna be a very very sad day when he leaves this

A great, great movie, and the discovery of tremendous talent in Will Bannister, as he is living proof that the spotlight is not always on the person with the most talent. Heard this at the beginning of the movie and couldn't wait to get home to find out who was singing it. One of my all-time favorites after hearing it just once!

Will Bannister - what a eastern NM and west Texas treasure. Have enjoyed listening to him sing for a number of years and so glad he had the opportunity to do the song for the movie! May be the stepping stone he so deserves - great singer, song writer, and person.
