Can't believe people used to walk on that wall just weeks ago. I saw the episode from Reykjavik Grapevine where the dude talks to us while walking on the top.

The lava continues to amaze me in how it finds new paths and how strong it is.
It doesn't seem to follow the paths a waterflow would follow.
It looks like it builds it's own channels that it flows through instead of strictly follow the path of the lowest points and it can run uphill when the lava pushes on from behind.
Lets hope the fiber cable can withstand the heat and that the imminent road blockage doesn't cause too much problems.
