GTA Vice City not opening in Windows 10 fix

Hi All,

Many of you were facing the problem of GTA vice city not launching in windows 10 and this is due to the compatibility of game as it was released way back in 2002 when windows XP was ruling and now after 15 years the game become incompatible with latest OS because many things changed since they released it. So now in order to bridge the gap we need to ask windows to run in older mode to provide the game same environment which it was meant to be.

That's the thing though I don't have a compatibility tab whenever I open the properties tab!!!😤😤😤😤

The black screen in missions is the fps limiter when u uncap the fps in settings it freezes up a little trick I learned is when black screen after cutscenes hit the windows button to go back to ur desktop then go back to the game and it will in freeze it's self it's not much but it's a little tip

then also its not opening just loading and loading after some time it shows windows cannot access the specified device path or file you may not have appropriate permissions

Oh my God I found it after 2 years thanks men. in 2021 I bough new PC and I couldn't run gta vc Ilook for a fix and now I found it :)
