Your video was the first video recommended on the subject.
My elderly neighbor asked if I could do that for him because he need to do from Oklahoma to Austin to bring some presents to his grandkids.
I’ll be helping him drive there and back.
It was a good opportunity for me to go see some relatives in the area.

Use sealed LED lamps .
3M Scotchkote FD is a coating developed for underground electrical splices . Use separate ground wires and reflective conspicuity tape . Well done clear video .

Thanks Sir, I'm doing exactly that wiring to the exact same trailer in the morning. I knew how but watching you just boosted my confidence level. Thanks for sharing

Thank you. This video helped me answer the question about why my wires wouldn't budge through the tubing.

This video was very helpful because I have that exact trailer and that set of lights. I was disappointed that you sped through the attachment of the running lights because that was a little confusing. I would have really liked to have seen that up close and in normal speed.

At about 13:00, you wire the side marker. I have some question: 1. The light only has a black wire. What do you do with the green wire? I didn’t follow you here. 2. Your brown wire coming from the vehicle’s connector connects with the side marker light. I think you cut the brown wire and connects with the side marker. Then how do you continue the cut wire to the rear light?

Great video !, I’m looking at the same trailer you have, one came online today and it says it needs all the lights rewired, your video is very helpful, I do have a question, I’m just curious if that trailer can be lifted up onto its rear end so that you could do all the wiring while standing up and not have to crawl underneath ( I have mobility issues ) … thank you !

I installed a curt plug in (no spicing) towing 4 wire harness in my van. installed new wiring and LED side markers & tail lights on my utility trailer, with the running lights off the trailer brake lights are bright turn signals also. Turn on the running lights, for example press brake pedal left or right brake light dose not seem bright, left or right turn signal does not blink bright and side marker as well as I would expect, while the left turn signal is blinking the right is blinking dim compared to the left and vice versa. I checked the grounds multiple times rechecking the wiring I don’t remember having this issue when I rewired the trailer 7 years ago, any help is appreciated. Thank you

Hi, thanks for this video, I'm a total newbie to doing any type of wiring but my handyman couldn't figure it out. How do I know what type of butt connectors to use?

I am trying to hook up an add-on LED center brake/ park light on my camper shell. The LED brake light comes with a RED (Brake), Green (Park) and White (Ground) wires. The green on brown is good for the running lights. The White on Black is good for the Ground but I cannot seem to figure out where the Red wire goes without it blinking. Per the S10 manual it shows the yellow (L) and green (R) wires in the truck harness are for the Stop/ Turn signals. If I hook the red wire to the yellow the left turn signal and the center light blink. If I hook it to the green wire the same thing on the right side. There has to be a wire just for Brake light that I connect the red wire too??? Has anyone ran into this and can tell me what wire you hook to for just the brake/ stop light and will not flash when I turn on the turn signals? I tried the brown/white wire and it does not work for the brake light. It is a 2000 Chevy S10, Please HELP, I've tried everything and looked for videos and can't find nothing.. at the end of my rope, lol
