Duran will be better for Topaz, so don't bother farming the summon set to replace it.

25% damage and 25% crit damage is just flat out better than 48% crit damage. Not only is it more value form raw numbers, but splitting the multipliers is generally beneficial due to diminishing returns. Topaz (and FUA in general) tends to have very high crit damage as a result of her team, more so if you get E1/S1.

The only downside of Duran is rather negligible for Topaz, since everything from her is a FUA. This means that Topaz charges in roughly 2 turns, and down to as low as one turn once feixiao releases.

For the BananAmusement Park, I think when they mean summon its when another entity is added to the action bar. So yeah Jing Yuan, Topaz and Lingsha the only ones who can use it atm. I think Clara doesnt apply since Svarog isnt a summon which is usually heavily implied in the talent and for Robin she has a fixed crit rate and crit damage percentage on her ultimate so she cant use it.

I do think that if Hoyo is going to go into more position-based buffs, I don’t see them ever going very far outside of the first slot. In most cases, a hypercarry DPS will be in the first slot, save for something like a Clara/Yunli team where you might put them next to Aventurine in the middle two slots, so they would want to receive the buffs the most.

Lushaka isn’t the first time they’ve experimented with this idea. In Divergent Universe, there exists a 2-star Curio called Punklordian Regards, and it is basically SPD transfer, taking 40% SPD away from slot four and giving 40% SPD to slot one. This is also part of why I think they wouldn’t do much outside of slot one: If they were to do a buff that worked for slot four, then using a friend’s character in a farmable domain or in DU just gets even better. If they never get to slot four buffs, then there is more incentive for players to use their own characters.

The only case I would imagine they do anything other than the first slot would be maybe like damage reduction for the second, third, and fourth slots. This creates room for options: You could choose to use a first-slot buff and have your hypercarry in the first slot OR you could use the 2-3-4 slot buffs and put your SUSTAIN character in the first slot since they are the most able to take those hits.

they keep buffing JY because they know they've made him too weak for an Arbiter general, supposedly at the level of an emanator, who is also a recurring character.


(before lore heads drop on me yes we don't know if JY is an emanator for sure 100%, but Welt states Arbiter generals of the Xianzhou are at the same level as lord ravagers, which are emanators of destruction. So regardless of emanator status, they're about as strong anyway.)

JY with Sparkle already has a huge amount of CD so the new banana set probably won't be a buff

Simple thing for the second one the summon must appear on the action bar and must be a folllow-up attack

svarog isn't a summon it's a follow up attack animation, robin sets up a field so it doesn't count either

i feel like the banana park set is just an indirect buff to JY but its foreshadowing a future playstyle of a summon 5* new limited character just like when people think duran was for jade when it was actually for feixiao or even yunli both came later than when the relics was introduced just a thought tho

The summon thing probably refers to a separate entity that has its own slot on the action order bar. So Clara, Robin and Firefly probably won't count, because they don't actually summon an entity on the field. Robin and Firefly have countdown timers, not summons, and Svarog is just a combat animation like imbibitor's water dragon

The one thing I want to know is whether that extra 32% crit dmg only takes effect when the summoned entity is on the field, which means that crit dmg is only benefitting the summon's attack.

I'm interested in Lushaka one. I plan to use it for Acheron team, giving it to Robin and Jiaoqiu (and maybe Aventurine also) and put Acheron in the first position.
