I really wished you turned the brightness up..

You might want to consider switching to a black background. The white surface completely washes out the phone's screen making it appear very dim in the video. Uninitiated viewers might be mislead into thinking that that's what the phone screen looks like IRL. Just a thought. In any case I can't wait to get my hands on one of these 😁

Dude, exactly!! All these "reviewers" keep wasting all of our time with these fucking unboxing videos. We've seen these all fucking week. We know its a 5.96" screen, dual front speakers ect.

Live test the speakers for us
Play a YouTube video in HD.
Play a graphic intensive game.
Record slo-mo video in 720p, 1080p, 30fps, 60fps, 120hz 240hz.
Show off the OIS in different resolutions. Put the phone in your pants pocket, show how it looks.
Show outside pics from the camera, not the press pics.

How is that "soft touch" back compared to the soft touch back of the Nexus 5 and 7?

Both put a light on the subject and turn up the brightness on the phone; CAN'T SEE ANY OF THE NEXUS AWESOMENESS. Moving to an unboxing on some other channel..

After hearing the terrible reviews of the Droid turbo and bad screen brightness, I sure hope that's not what's happening here.

Yeah, that screen looks really dark and I noticed the brightness slider position was turned all the way up!
