How to find the focus and directrix of a parabola

Learn how to graph a parabola in standard form when the vertex is not at the origin. We will learn how to graph parabola's with horizontal and vertical openings. In addition to graphing you will also learn how to identify the important characteristics of a parabola in conic sections such as the focus, directrix, and vertex which are all based on the vertex (h,k)
