The animals on bricks and pieces are usually very expensive
Lego should release animal packs similar to the minifigure packs, so it would be possible to get them for cheaper

I love the ray and the man-eating shark! the fact that you can put a fig inside the shark is really cool! I'd love to stick a skeleton pirate into one for my builds.

My favorite new animal is the orca! It looks great and is pretty sizable, I hope they come to pick a brick so I can have a little pod.

My favorite is the turtle. Although, I like them all except the sonic ones. I like the more realistic-looking animals.

I had no idea that one of the Sonic animals is a pig printed on a puppy mold. 😮 Pigs are my favorite animal, so I definitely need to get that, especially since I think it will fit in okay with Friends. To the best of my knowledge, we have never gotten a pig in the Friends line (even though we've gotten several Friends farm sets, they tend no focus on horses), unless you count Pua from the Disney Princess Moana sets. I was very happy when the new LEGO City-style piglets arrived on Pick-a-Brick, but boy, are they expensive! I don't even want to guess how much an Orca would cost on Pick-a-Brick. 😢

i didnt know that you could get city animals in pick a brick here in aus i dont see any animals come through in the pick a brick it feels like the short end of the stick when it comes to prices and pick a brick

I dont think the orca is undersized compared to minofigs. Orcas are large dolphins and are considerably smaller then most whales.
