I honestly getting pretty annoyed at Riot since just because a bit similar design they sued Moonton, the one that I felt like really childish is Alucard Lightborn where Alucard hold his sword with support of his shoulder, that's why it was changed.

Secondly there are a lot of similar ideas, there's a lot of developers, if you want to start on copying then every Moba games is just a copy of Dota then.

Thirdly, its pretty normal to have a bit of similar ideas on some aspects cause we're all influenced by what we saw in the past and the future.
And last and not least, there's also some aspect that moonton deserve the lawsuit such as the map back then.
