🐬 nice video - I think I might give Stage manager another try. Last year i found it too clunky. Also I agree it shines on the external displays. On the iPad itself, the old split / slide over views are still beter I think.

Other than that, the lockscreen improvements are welcome additions

I agree about the improvement with the multitasking in IOS 17, it’s made the iPad so much more usable and versatile. One bug I’ve noticed in IOS 17 is that passkeys and Face ID isn’t working when accessing websites that have to be accessed via login. I save some of my websites onto my homepage and loved the fact I could tap the Username box and then click the password prompt that appeared and it would log me straight in. I’m still on IOS 16.7 on my iPhone and the same sites work perfectly with the same function so I’m not going to update my iPhone to IOS 17 until the bug has been fixed.

Apple could bring Xcode, even if it was on cloud, or some kind of IDE for coding on iPads, the M1 could really do the job for compile and debug. Please apple or any company(yeast i was thinking on MS with VS Code), bring it to iPads.

PLUS, they improved the sound handling… the quality of digital audio into good headphones or Atmos sound system is noticeably better.

Still no improvements on the Files App. I was hoping this update would bring Files closer in specs to the Finder in Mac OS. Kind of disappointed about that. Stage manager is now fully usable and predictable, that’s a major change for the better. Keep up the good work, Fernando! Always great to see your videos!

I've been waiting for audio output routing for years, and unfortunately, they still didn't implement it. I'll keep waiting, but until then I will continue just to use my M1 MacBook and Samsung Galaxy Tab s9+

🐬! Great and informative tour. It’ll be interesting to see when Apple decides to off the Journal app. And more than a few folks are starting to grumble about having so many wallpapers dropped. Hopefully Apple will hear the crabbing and bring back easy access to more of the recent iOS wallpapers for folks.

It baffles me how bad Siri is lol. I switched over from Android about a year ago and even then the Google Assistant is so much more advanced than Siri. I can’t wait for it to catch up cuz I used it so much.
