Thank you, stories like this should be told in schools.
I have CPTSD from very server early childhood s/abuse. And an abusive mum because she stay and I was made to grow up with my abuser. Trying to get her to love me and make me feel important. Has destroyed my life. Now later in life the impact hit me.
I've cut all family off, I said to my counsellor, it's to late for me to reach my purpose, I only wish that when I pass away, if I get to come back, I wish I could remember who I was, so I could may start again and try to find my purpose, so my life wasn't wasted. That statement after saying it broke my heart, because of abuse I now know I lived in fight or flight. Fearful of everything but an out sider wouldn't see that. Fear of even being in a relationship, incase I can't meet that person's needs. As that's all I've ever known, meeting other ppls needs.
This was a lovely story.
