Meet @Nicolò Perina, our technician and head of manufacturing at LOTUS.

Nicoló joined our crew a few years ago and have grown steadily in both skill and responsibility. He is very hard-working, creative and has a great sense of quality in everything he does. In our many research and development projects for our products, Nicolò is playing an essential role.

For instance, he is the man behind the bell shape and material combinations of our new and highly popular Solo Model.

In this video you get to follow along as Nicolò takes you on a tour of our Trumpet production in Italy.

The difference is Adam Rapa has specified various design tweaks that are relatively unusual, compared to most horns. He has made quite a study of precisely why certain combinations work to accomplish the goals for a professional trumpet player, to achieve sound models, without overworking. These designs demand a precision so the player doesn't have to work so hard to lip notes in tune, to achieve certain dynamics by sacrificing tonal quality, and endurance. Describing it in words, though, misses the point. You simply have to try the horns to truly appreciate their quality.
