Canada's unemployment rate hits 7-year high: StatCan

Up slightly from July’s numbers, Canada’s unemployment rose to 6.7 per cent in August.

It's the highest it's been since May 2017 – not counting the COVID-19 pandemic.

But as Mackenzie Gray reports, it's not hitting everyone equally.

How has it risen when everyone needs at least two jobs just to be able to eat every day? I think the unemployment numbers are much higher than they are letting on. We have known that Trudeau's policies have destroyed Canada; let's hope that an election gets called soon, and then the new government will actually start enforcing immigration laws.
