From my experience, the biggest naval I've ever seen is when my Turkish fleet (200 ships) fighting against 1500 Italian ships in Mediterranean, it's 1942 and the Italian have 3000 ships, the game suddenly lags and eventually crashed

This is why Naval warfare is so bad. The results are so crazily skewed just from having slightly better ships, or slightly more planes or slightly more screening. 60 BB's to 600! It is insane.
