No protection for the seller. I've got someone complaining about an outrageous stain that was not there when I sent it. Now I'm concerned they will just steal it. And the customer service is nonexistent.

The customer service is terrible - you can’t speak to a human and there is no nuance in their decision making. They also need to add a partial refund option because I’ve received so many items that aren’t as described and it’s not worth returning them as the buyer has to pay return postage.

Totally agree with automatic feedback system, its a common sense policy i wish ebay would implement

The fake postings aways come up at late afternoon onwards, you can tell them a mile away because usually the price is weird like 52.38 and if you go to the post its always Royal Mail, international sellers must be able to buy it, rather then evri etc, since it wouldnt show as posted

Now I can’t print out labels. I have to use a qr code then the shop prints out the label. It’s more hassle.

The customer service is ridiculous. Received a jacket in lock up instead of earring. Been asked to send so many photos. Tried to email the CEO (found on company house) to tell him the service is so bad - but automatic message from the Vinted team robot.

Your video and some of the comments have changed my mind about using Vinted. Was going to start listing some of my eBay items but some of the issues highlighted, especially the buyers not marking as received and leaving you upto a month without your funds being released, have swayed me away from going ahead.

My relationship with Vinted has soured. To the point I actually thinking of closing my account. I have a small bookshop on Vinted. And at first I enjoyed. But when people kept asking of lowering the price of books. And Vinted is always in the favour of the customer. It started to annoy me. I'm not selling just because its my hobby. People like to think I have a solid income. I haven't anything but that. I sell on Vinted to get a little money on bread and milk. And the inflation and work options in Sweden has gone downhill.

I like vinted but I wish when you clicked "my orders" it just showed orders that need dispatching separately and in the order of purchase rather than Just showing all orders together. You can be super lazy on Vinted if you wanted to though "Black M&S Jumper Size 12" for example will Just sell where as on other platforms you will need to add measurements, material and be overly descriptive to even get seen. It seems so casual. 🤣🤣

I was banned on vinted for no reason. I always follow all the rules. I've never bought or sold anything that's illegal. And I never harassed anyone.

I do 70% of my sales on Vinted now vs ebay and depop. Depop is dead now everyone's moving to Vinted. Definitely agree it has it's issues though but hopefully they sort them out.

Money doesn't go straight into your bank you need to transfer it, I have noticed there are vinyl record sellers on there that are never taken down and have real shops.

I had to register a new account on Vinted and lose all my feedback (the same happened with my 2 ebay accounts with 2600+ feedback on them, but that's another story). I had an Vinted account in France but you can't change the country to the UK if you have a French Vinted account. I have 50 reviews now on the Uk one, I just uploaded some inexpensive seasonal items on it to start with and people started buying stuff, I like the no fees situation and that is a return is highly unlikely if you as a seller did everything right. I'm a bit weary ordering from it myself as not everyone is responsible (I got sent a wrong item and half of my order once) and it's a pain to open cases to return there.

Vinted has more customers than eBay without a doubt! Depends on what you are selling
