Stereo description confusing. Site says 17 speakers w/ dual subwoofers for LR and Performance and 9 with 1 amplifier for RWD. This is a LR AWD, so which is it?

I like how Tesla is just tweaking existing components and design it has in-hand to create compelling value for customers. I'm loving my '24 M3P but the value of the LR RWD would be hard to pass up if had to do it again.

Damn $42, 500 I didn’t expect. I thought it was gonna be 3k less than the long range like the model Y. 5k savings is pretty significant. I kinda regret getting the LR. Kinda! I don’t drive fast that often. 4.9 sec is impressive.

Gas savings will definitely vary based on your location, charging costs, yearly mileage, and vehicle comparison. Bought a Model Y Performance 2 years ago. In comparison to the SUV it replaced for daily driving, I’m saving on average $4800/ year.

What are your thoughts on the sound system? Both Rear-Wheel vehicles have the standard 9-speaker system. The dual motor vehicles have 17… can anyone offer feedback on the difference in listener experience?

I would love to buy my first tesla, looking at the 3 P red, but i would be loosing tax credit plus pay an additional 2k, just cant pull the trigger. Wish we could at least get the tax credit with the red color.

If you have a discounted nighttime rate like we do with Georgia power, you can save a couple of thousand dollars a year in gas savings if you drive 12, 000-15000 miles a year, and save more if you drive more. And yes, you do need winter tires if you live in a place where there is snow, but a rear wheel drive version is perfectly fine in most places in the United States and even in Canada. Been waiting for this demand lever to be pulled for a long time. The most efficient and cost-effective vehicle Tesla can offer. Next lever for them to pull is to allow all Teslas to have vehicle to home functionality that can serve as a battery back up for your home power during outages like they’re having in Texas right now. In my mind that would end the debate of electric versus ice.

The M3 LR RWD is indeed very tempting but dang it, this deal is about 9 months too soon for me to take advantage of it.

I got the 2023 tesla Model 3 Rear Wheel Drive, 272 miles. Tesla is competing with other EV brands that are coming to market, so I expect even more price drops, higher range and more feature upgrades.
