dRonin - autotune on emax nighthawk pro 280

Before anyone gets too excited...dRonin is still very much a work in progress and pre-release. Unless you really know what you're doing and don't mind the chance of a flying blender of doom in your face I can't suggest tracking it down to try yet.

But it's coming and it's sweet :D

Awesome...Thanks for sharing...Using recent stable release of dRonin on a Eachine Racer 250(CC3D) modded for 6" props...never could resolve intermittent oscillations using Libre BUT 60 second 'autotune' and BAM, very solid and locked-in!!!love the slide bars for manipulating personal flight preference as well...very impressed...recommend to newbs and veterans alike(if they can peel away from Clean/Beta HA)...any luck getting Horizon Mode to perform a little better???

Sweet. getting familiar with changes now that I'm tuned. For a beginner what flight modes do you recommend? Is yaw axis lock sort of a headless mode? Until I really can get more comfortable in air trying to graduate flight modes from simple (easy) to more expert. Recommendations? Autotuned twice but have high Tau levels 70 then 65. Recommendations for bringing those numbers down? My 450 seems to be flying well so maybe not necessary. Thanks for your video!

How did you "start" the auto tune? Every video I've looked up glosses over that part. I'm assuming it isn't recognizing the narrator's voice saying "now I'm gonna enable autotune." Did you have to program an auxiliary switch to channel 5 or 6+?

hm how do i get it on my FC? got a cc3d, in dronin gcs i see it recognized as copter controll, fine so war, but when i hit rescue on the Fw page it cant find the bootloader
