Most modern copies are usually lacking in the area of tone, but, not this guitar. It is as lovely and charming as the originals I have heard. The lute-like fragility of the top two treble strings, contrasted with the firm and dry basses of the fortepiano make this a true pleasure!

Gorgeous and nuanced!! Love the heightened, elongated phrases that seemingly appear out of nowhere

Fantastic playing! And a really welcome contribution to the repertoire of the 19th century which far too often lacks in quality.

wow!!!! so musical and I love the sound of that guitar. This is my first time hearing this work and it is yet another reason why Coste is my favourite 19th Century Guitar composer :) thank you for this!

Quelle splendeur...

It has a straight tempo! Un Bolero c'est une danse! It has a steady tempo!

Merci

thomas, what strings do you use on that guitar? Are they carbon or nylon? sounds wonderful and bravo for your great career.

Awesome, I love romantic era guitars! Are those gut strings? They sound great! If they are gut, how long do you find you can play on them before you have to re-position the strings to keep them from breaking?
