How To Find Lost AirPods or Lost AirPods Case

If you lost your AirPods or the AirPods case, I’ll show you a few ways to locate your lost AirPods.

These methods work for AirPods, AirPods Pro, and AirPods Max.

The first option is to play a sound on your AirPods. If it’s nearby, this is the fastest way to locate it.
You can choose the play the sound from one AirPod or both.
To play the sound, launch my find my app. You should see your AirPods in the list here.

Select play sounds to find your lost AirPods. Choose left or right AirPods if you are missing just one of them.

The second option is to use the find my app on your iPhone or Mac.
This option has been available since iOS 10.3.

Finally, there is lost mode. This works with 2nd and 3rd generation AirPods, AirPods Pro, and AirPods Max.

With the lost mode activated, you’ll get notified when they become available. And they will stay linked to your Apple ID.

Great Video - Question: If I FOUND someone elses airpod case with one airpod inside, what is the best way to keep it available so they can find it? I have been keeping the case charged. Should I keep the single airpod in the case, or pull it out so it will ping separately? I do not own airpods, so I really don't know much about them. When I first put it near my phone it said the location could be tracked, but now it doesn't do anything but ding occasionally.

I think Activating the lost mode is very helpful. Every time there can be a popup message I don’t see it but my friends found my AirPods. Awesome feature 😊
