PS5 Pro: How to Attach Stand Legs (Horizontal)

In my experience the stand still allows the console to slide around a bit, say if I accidentally tug on the controller cable. Does yours do the same?

Will these still be effective if the disc drive is attached?

Is it just me or does the edge where the button logos are touch the surface? Is it supposed to be like that?

This is the cheapest most generic set up from Sony. The legs I have broke within a month. Expected more for over $600
