He certainly wasn't a satanist. He was just wrong about an awful lot. He didn't know about DNA, he didn't know know about how complex a cell was, they still spoke about life being made up of
" globules " and he said himself that his theory totally hinged on future fossils being found to show the transitions that have still never been found. The Cambrian explosion blew the theory appart. The theory has to be rethought.

Man whenever I argue with an Atheist I always point out Darwin was a Christian. He became agnostic in his older years after his daughter drown. Which is fair

Defending evolution is denying the Bible. Also, Darwin definitely titled one of his works as "preservation of favored races in the struggle for life." The book of James specifies favoritism to be evil.

Darwin regularly spoke of the "civilized races" in comparison to what he called the "savage races". He even went so far as to say that "the civilised races of man will almost certainly exterminate and replace throughout the world the savage races", which does seem to indicate that he didn't think "savage" races could become civilized, which does seem to imply a belief in race realism, with some races just being superior to others.

Sry IP, but this is a fail. Charles Darwin got his theories from ancient philosophers and he was inspired by atheism and racism.
You should read Darwin's texts, books and letters. Not the literature of historians that can choose to not address the horrible content of Darwin's original work.
