For anyone who is having troubles trying to get Forge to pop up correctly after downloading it, I got it to work properly by installing the latest version on Java onto my PC. Then when I launched Forge it let me select the option to open it through the Java application! After that, everything worked perfectly.

For me everything worked, but the world would not open, it would contently crash.What i did, was downloaded the curse forge app, and made a custom modpack with all the necessary mods, and played that. It worked!

When i press the download thingy from Forge that message didn't pop up like it did at yours, and i did the exact same thing you did, do you maybe know why? cause i really want to play SWEM

When I click the bottom left hand corner “latest release” (1:50) forge doesn’t come up, when I’ve done all the steps in terms of installing it??

Hey Abigail, I have watched many and many of tutorials of how to download this mod and when I go to play it, it will get to that red page with all the writing then crash and take me back to the Minecraft launcher saying “the game crashed whilst intitializing the game
Error: : GLFW error before init : [0x10008]Cocoa: Failed to find service port for display
Do you know how to fix this??
