Nice overview.

Would be cool to see you guys load them up with different configurations of items to illustrate how practical the storage is. Cheers.

Just as a note for anyone with the Givi PL or PLR racks, you can get the Kappa K-venture box, same box without the CAM side locks. Made by the same people, just without the CAM side locks.

I bought a used 42l top case with dents in them, and I hammered it out with a rubber mallet and smooth it out a bit, can hold 2 paper grocery sack. I absolutely love them. They look awesome on my Honda reflex. Those little strap hook come in handy. I can't wait for the camping season.

I like these! I am going to get a full set of cases for my Africa Twin. My question is do you have to have them locked all the time requiring a key to open them all the time?

All that and you didnt even show how the top box goes on and off 100% why people are searching for givi videos in the first place is to see if a bow will fit an existing rack, or vice versa.

Hey guys, another good review. In terms of "ruggedness", how does this compare to Touratech Zega Pros? From the video I couldn't help but wonder if its a a bit softer especially the latches and frame?

Hi there, if i were to put the 58l top case along with 37l side panniers, will it affect the side panniers? Let say if i wants to open the side panniers, will it hit the top case? Thanks

I'd like to start with a Givi top case so my girlfriend can join me, but what about back supports for the top case ? Have you tried them, are they made from hard rubber ? ( it's difficult to see on pictures ) 2nd question related to riding with a passenger in the back ; is the Givi mounting system sturdy ( compared to for example Touratech gear ? ) Thanks.

Will these be worth the investment for strictly road touring? I'd like this design(Top loading, square, external tie-down points...) for my 17' Versys 1000LT. I won't be doing any off-road riding but I will be riding with a passenger. The weight of each side/top case is a little off putting, though. The stock cases that came with the bike are decent but there are no options for external gear lashing and the max load weight and volume are very restricting.

I just got these for my '14 tiger 800xc. I've got the top case mounted already. What's the part number for the side case racks? Is it PLR6409? Givi very confusing for sure.

I just purchased a 2016 Tiger 800xcx and the Outback side and top cases. I will be getting the smaller 42L top case. What exactly did you use to install the top case to your Tiger? You mentioned something Altrider and an adaptor plate. What I see on your bike is black which I prefer over the silver. I'm not a big fan of the SRA6401 plate which is bare aluminum. Thanks

I hope you are wrong because I have ordered a generic monokey plate and I cannot test it for several months, nor return it or get a replacement if it won't work...

From Givi website "The Trekker Outback top-case with aluminium structure and profiles is available in two different sizes: 42 ltr and 58 ltr. These top-cases do not require a specific rack and can be attached to any existing MONOKEY® plate."

Nice looking cases. I didn't hear you say whether these are waterproof or not? If so, have you ridden in the rain yet?

Hello Buddy, very good review. Would you have the part number for that rack? I already have those same side cases from other bike and I'm buying a Tiger XCx, so I just need the rack to install it. Thanks!

great review my questions is I just picked up the tiger xca 2017 and as you know it comes with a luggage rack already would I be able to use that rack with these cases?

For a BMW R1200GS Adventure do you advise using two 37L cases or one 37 on the right and a 48 on the left to compensate for the extra size of the exhaust? Thanks!

Hello :).
I have a KTM 1090 Adventure from 2017 and I want to buy the Givi Outback 42 Liter Monokey Top Case! But I am fighting to find the proper rack to instal it!
Which of these 3 should I use:

Givi SRA7703 Aluminum Top Case Rack KTM 1090 / 1190 / 1290 Super Adventure
Givi Monolock / Monokey Top Case Plates (M9B MONOKEY)
Givi Monolock / Monokey Top Case Plates (M7 MONOKEY)

???

Thank you very much!

Kind Regards
