Carrickalinga Beach YELLOWFIN WHITING | Fishing South Australia

Headed down to Carrickalinga Beach again for another crack at the Yellowfin Whiting. The fish were there but unfortunately the trip was cut short and I had to head home. Still I caught enough Yellowfin Whiting, Mullet and Tommies (Australian Herring) for a feed and had a blast doing it all!

I suspect the next few times I fish around Carrickalinga I'll be targeting other species of fish from Garfish to Mullet when they really start to run, I can't wait!

Thanks for sharing, I was disappointed you didn’t show how you set up your rig, and hook and sinker size, plus how you find the worms, remember a lot of people are possibly only learners. You got a nice feed anyway.

Exciting yes, but for me, not as exciting as using a lure like a surface popper.
