How do you get both GPS and the matek optical flow/lidar module to work together?

Your optical flow sensor only has a range of 2ms if you instead chose a laser a Laser range finder you could get ground distance accuracy with position hold because the laser range finders do dozens of meters your optical flow had the same distance when you tried to navigate hold up in the air, it probably would have worked
