If the unemployment rate is able to remain steady while the Fed hikes and inflation falls back to target, a soft landing might be on the table

We Are in Unchartered Financial Waters! Daily challenges have become the new norm, and what we once considered crises are now routine. With the country's economy struggling, I want to protect my $680k savings and find ways to grow my wealth. How can I make the most of my money and secure my financial future?

Recessions are part of the economic cycle, all you can do is make sure you're prepared and plan accordingly. I graduated into a recession (2009). My 1st job after college was aerial acrobat on cruise ships. Today I'm a VP at a global company, own 3 rental properties, invest in stocks and biz, built my own business, and have my net worth increase by $500k in the last 4 years.

Market highs can sometimes be followed by corrections, but predicting the timing and extent of it is challenging. I've heard some analysts talk about a 'massive' correction. It makes me wonder if it's time to adjust my $2M portfolios or maybe even consider some defensive investments.

Fear and uncertainty create major wealth. It's those who take the risk and have strong gut to endure the bloody days. When i notice extreme dips i tend to actually move more money to crypto...

I foresee a recession lasting a while, and if inflation continues to surge, the Federal Reserve will likely raise interest rates again. Inflation is causing various issues worldwide, such as food shortages, scarcities of diesel and heating fuel, and significant spikes in housing prices, leading to a potential financial market crash. This global downturn could have long-lasting repercussions. Given the current inflation rate and market crash, my main worry is how to optimize my savings and retirement fund, which has remained stagnant at around $300, 000, yielding almost no gains for quite some time.

I Hit $139k today. Thank you for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last months. Started crypto last month July. Financial education is indeed required for more than 70% of the society in the country as very few are literate on the subject.

I can't be the only one scratching my head at the gibberish she was saying....

Honestly I don't even understand what the market is doing at this point. I have been on a loosing streak and my portfolio barely adds anything and some people are still predicting a crash in the market. I got burnt in the recent stock crash nearly $306k. I just wish there's a way out of all these.

Basically, she's predicting some major market volatility (possibly due to a recession ahead) and asking to take some profit off the table to buy the dip. Not a bad idea, but I'm holding the bag from the last downturn :D :P

From $37K to $65K that's the minimum range of profit return every month I think it's not a bad one for me, now I have enough to pay bills and take care of my family. ❤️

2:21💡 Thank God somebody has some sense. Yes! If Recession comes, you must be in NVIDIA, META, AMAZON etc. because they are not recession sensitive, and also not rates sensitive. NVIDIA is your biggest "Recesssion-Hedge" Stock!

If there is a significant cut in interest rates like .5 then the market crashes. She admits a recession is possible so why would you hold your gains. Why not do like Buffet and have 95 Billion in cash and sell your positions at all time She also gulps to much when questioned which obviously is a sign of the lack of knowledge in the market.

When will the CNBC four year ‘recession is guaranteed to happen’ gibberish end?
