I’ve been married to my Yankee for almost 42 years and I honestly think it’s my Southern cooking that has kept us together! LoL When we first got married he’d say “The way to a man’s heart is through his stomachache!” His Moma’s spice cabinet may have had 5 spices!! He loves my Cajun cooking and my gravy— he will eat with a spoon!! Sadly he’s not a biscuit or grits eater but my boys are! 😊
