Thank you Jay and Mark. I registered for IELTS Academic without having seen an IELTS prep materials before. I had just one week between registration and taking the tests. The only materials I prepared with were a couple of your videos. My results are out this morning and I scored a 7.5 overall: Listening 8.5; Reading 7.5; Writing 6.5; Speaking 8.0.
This is my first IELTS test ever.

Learnt a few new idiomatic expressions:
1) Cut straight to the chase (meaning to go to the main/relevant point of the subject).
2) Give it a crack (meaning to do or attempt something difficult).
