Every day is Valentine's Day for you two. Your love for each other resonates through every video you post. Cheers from San Francisco, California.

Oh yes. English heritage videos are so great. She is so great and I am stunning every time. She talks so calm so you can watch her a long time without being bored.

I am so jealous that you can visit the places of Downton Abbey. I am really looking forward to this travel video from you from this visit. I really adore this series.

I like your opinion about the Valentine's day. It is the same way I am thinking because I say: When your partner just say once during the great that he loves you or share his time I would say thanks but no thanks. The same as for Mother's day.

Hi, kirsten!
It's about time I don't write any comments but I've been very busy lately.I'm so sorry!
I agree entirely with you about st.valentine's day.
For me the most important thing is the caring, the support, the friendship we share in our every life.
I like all your ideas you share about decoration. It''s absolutly amazing how you combine different pieces of vintage furniture with the modern ones.
I'm never fed up of watching your marvellous videos.
Keep well.

Thanks for the new video! And I agree with you about Valentine’s Day. I buy myself flowers once in a while. I especially like to buy tulips in February. It is like bringing home a promise that spring is coming!

Candles not good for my husband's Respiratory issues, but what at deal!!
We have Country Living fair in the States serveral locations. Demos, workshops, lectures, book signings. And lots of things for home and garden.
Shabby chic, or French farmhouse, DIY....a fun day! Or full weekend.
Sounds like yours is similar.

Please tell Joerg my husband now adopting his Loving Custom kissing you when he leaves the house and first thing when he comes home.
We're empty nesters and have forgotten along the way to show that attention to each other.
We're rediscovering our relationship, and traveling abroad is helping.
With family there visited Germany twice last year.
Will see bit of England this year for a day. But will be back...and take time, too to visit family in Wales.
Love your sweet voice!

Dear Kirsten, I was so happy to see your January favorites vlog posted, and have just watched it this evening. I love the English Heritage videos and have enjoyed watching Mrs. Crocumbe. I saw the very episode where she made the creme in the pineapple mold and I thought, "she'll never get that out of there in one piece!" But she did succeed, thank goodness! I do love the dish mold. Pineapple is supposed to be a symbol of hospitality, apparently. I loved your candle and the books as well. I love architectural and interior design. Thank you so much for your wonderful vlogs! Good thing there was no tea time or I would have to have joined you; and I've had far too much tea today! Good to hear about your vacation plans! I do wish you could get to France to see Stephanie Jarvis' LaLande! I think you would love it! Hello to Jörg! Auf wiedersehn!

I agree, Valentine’s is such a made up “holiday”. My husband and I like to celebrate our anniversary instead (Feb. 19). I love Mrs. Crocombe as well and have yet to try one of her recipes. I look forward to your review on her Nesselrode pudding recipe. That pineapple mold is so lovely. I think I need one 😊

Another winner. I just love anything British so thank you. I will definitely watch the Youtube of Mrs Crocombe. Don't you just love books. We downsized and I can not store them but I can dream. Thanks again a relaxing few minutes with you while I knit on a blustery winter's day in Canada.

Nice to see you again Kirsten with those lovely finds and good to know my husband and I aren't the only ones who stay away from Valentines Day. I find some of the most romantic moments come when you least expect it, and it's costly.

I've watched Mrs Crocombe for quite some time, it's fascinating to see how the Victorian English prepared food. I always enjoy seeing the difference between American and English eating habits.😊

I enjoyed Mrs. Crocumbe and have seen her videos. She is amazing showing how food was made back then.

Loved to see your favourites, always something interesting, the computer case is a vandal fanatic, I have them burning all the time...I’m just finishing off a Christmas scented on called The Lodge and it’s smells of pine and cedar, just wonderful for this cold sunny winters day in a wonderful week in Toronto
