so u multiply the bottom than subtract the top to get you answer

Shouldn't the second example be 7/30= x?you're multiplying the fraction 1/15 by 2/2. There is no negative which makes it 2/30 + 5/30 = 7/30 = x, not -2/30

The reason i suck at math is because my teacher, always takes questions, and i already know it but once i hear other people questions they sqrew me up and then i think of there way of doing it, which is teh harder way, but this is just a 4 min. how to do it and my teacher takes 1 hour just to explain THIS!
