Deadlocks forgotten loading screen | Deadlock Secrets

The loading screen you see in Deadlock has some forgotten lore behind it, an alternative version of the artwork was originally used for the official valve deadlock discord server.

This alternative version features a early concept of Infernus walking towards the Crowley's convince store.

Infernus during Neon Prime was a track runner (possibly also an android given the existence of the Midnight Robo Rally and all the panel lines on his face.) Some voice lines suggest this athlete concept carried over to Deadlock early on (tho I forget which ones) and the appearance here looks a lot like the two NP Inferno designs we've seen in art/footage.
