LEATHERMAN Wave: If you only buy one Multi-tool...

The Leatherman Wave is a quality piece of gear. It features one hand opening blades, a good range of tools, and high quality construction. And you get all this at a very reasonable price. It's no wonder it is such a popular model. If you only ever buy one multi-tool, perhaps this should be it. The Wave really is that good. Check it out if you are in the market for a full sized multi-tool. Well done Leatherman, the Wave is a firm favorite with me. Highly recommended.

I have not read through all of the comments. I have the wave myself. I would like to point out if you have a set of tamperproof torx bits you can swap your blades to the other side. Essentially creating a left handed wave.

Carry laws are different everywhere so you would need to check local laws. Multi-tools seem to be a bit of a grey area here, at least it seems that way to me.
