I give up. Fresh install of Kali, follow your tutorial to the letter and I still get "Whoops! We're having trouble reaching our servers". Can't figure out why that might be. Not sure what version of Kali you are running. Maybe I'll try your exact version.

Whoops! Permission denied accessing /run/nordvpn/nordvpnd.sock.
Run 'usermod -aG nordvpn $USER' to fix this issue and log out of OS afterwards for this to take an effect.

this what i get all the i run usermod -aG nordvpn $USER' to fix this issue but it never
