I used to play counterstrike when I was 11 with all the boys (i was the only girl in the group playing haha). Hearing these sounds 'the bomb has been planted' and the sounds of the weapons and the feet makes me wanna cry from sheer happiness how much joy this game brought me over 13 years ago, hah! I just opened my steam and downloaded so I can re-live that joy. Gosh I love Counter Strike

CS was life for me everyday, back in 2004 this was the hit of the new era... growing up in Germany everyday we would spend hours at the local internet cafe playing this with 10 buddies all sat next to each other over a LAN connection. Glad to see it still being popular today!

I started to play with PC's in early 2019 and CSGO was the first game I started playing. I absolutely got hooked and still am. I had an old office PC and bought it a gt 710 then a 1030 not really knowing what to do but being in love with making this game that was teaching me everything run a little better. Nowadays I love playing it with max settings, a fully loaded autoexec, all the steam commands like -fullscreen -refreshrate xx -high, re writing the video settings and then setting them to read only so it doesn't change back, and the Nvidia settings. I think CSGO was a gateway drug to computers and games i migrated to apex legends soon after I got a GTX 1051ti and I feel like i wouldn't had applied myself or appreciate it as much if it wasn't for CSGO. I'd play this game forever if it was possible.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I love the sounds. Not so much the “I’m throwing a grenade” and other vocalizations, but the loading of bullets, footfalls on sand and stone, packs being opened and closed. Thank you.

CS was the first video game that I ever played, back in 2006 when I was 7 yrs old. Back then internet did not exist. There were some local gaming parlours where they used LAN to connect with other gamers. Every weekend my mom used to drive me there as my dad lived in another city. Now in 2022, I can recall, CS / CS:GO has become a part of who I am. Thank you for this game.

Hehe, I was just bored and wondered what CS looked like these days, I used to play it 20 years ago .. . Very amusing, as soon as they spawn, I recognised that's still a nicer looking version of one of the classic old maps, dust I think, got severe deja vu, could remember the layout as soon as they started running. What's scary is there will be loads of kids playing it younger than the actual map! :)
And people are STILL swishing their knives running out of spawn!

I took 2 weeks annual leave from work and games 24/7 at my internet cafe in Liverpool, Sydney Australia . It opened all night till 7am . The best memories with the boys, 5 of us teamed up vs randoms . Noodles and fizzy drinks all night 😢 miss those days . In those 2 weeks the boys helped me get to eagle master . I was stuck on double AK for so long .

Wow! I played Counterstrike religiously from like 2004/2005, this brings back tons of memories. "The bomb has been planted" hahaha thanks for the nostalgia, I just got a new computer and it prompted me to see what good games there are currently, I might have to download steam and get some good ol CS action goin here soon. Definitely gonna try BF 2042 tho 😎
