For those confused about the backstory of Echo, I think what seri was trying to say before getting distracted was echo got hit by a truck, and the truck driver stopped and called to report it to research center, they healed her leg, and released her when she was released with a radio coller around the Lost River area.

Seri, you need to hunt two elk in order to get potential mates interested in you, nothing else. And for beavers you need to hold down ctrl until your wolf lays down, then space bar when the beaver gets close before rushing over and biting it. It gives you a HUGE damage boost. Hope this helps!!

Some advice for hunting beavers: You gotta crouch where the beaver is heading to! And when they get really close, hold crouch and shift. And when they get close, bite them. You get a damage boost when you do this to beavers.

Also, one thing that I learned while playing in Lost river is that elk herds tend to stay more up North in Lost River for some reason. So if your having bad luck finding elk try going to the spot on peak blades where there's no territory claimed. There were a lot of elk herds that I found up there. And there were some at the lost and found too. You will see them on the map.

Fund to see LR. When you hunted beavers, you were stalking. Stalking is not the way you ambush. you ambush by crouching. Hold the crouch button (not 'R') while not moving until your wolf lays down with its tail straight out behind it. That helps tell you that you are crouched properly! Ta damage boost from a proper crouch is huge

when hunting for beavers, you get a damage boost when attacking them from crouching with the ctrl key.

Seri, thsi is generation 7! Generation 6 was atlas and bee. If you look at the docs to adopt a moon pack wolf it says atlas and bee was generation 6 also if you want to have beaver hunting easier you have to lay down. I don’t know what it is on keyboard because I play wq with an controller but it’s in the game help that says how to hunt beaver. The white howls on the compass are dispersal wolves. The gray area on the map is the cattle ranch!
