You can tell that Deryck understands the weight of what he's doing, filling in for Chester, and he did not take it lightly. He put his all into it and did Chester proud for the LP fans. He sounded really good with them, and I love how the fans accepted and embraced him, because they knew that's what Chester would have wanted. Mad respect to Deryck for how well he did and for understanding the weight of his role and delivering like no one else could have, except for Chester.

Dear Linkin Park. I don't know if other people will mind or not, but I'm one that won't mind if one day you'll come back with a "Linkin Park Feat. Deryck Whibley" themed project to come back to the surface. I miss him very much and I think we should continue to preserve what he has left for all of us. I hope Deryck is also a strong candidate (not replacing but featuring vocalist).

Obviously noone can ever replace Chester, but I think his legacy deserves to be heard and honoured on stage, not just in recordings. I would be all for Deryck touring with Linkin Park. I know he's made comments about it being an impossible task and I agree, Chester was a unique great, but I think the whole community would be behind him honouring the legacy.
